the annual recreation

It's getting cold here. It was under 10℃ this early morning.

It was my birthday and the 22nd wedding anniversary last week. They are the same day.
We didn't do anything special except eating delicious cake that day. And my family was going to eat out for dinner, but since my husband has been busy, it hasn't fulfilled yet. I hope we can go there this weekend. I want to go to a certain popular restaurant.

My son and I participated in the annual recreation for the soccer team last Sunday. We had Genghis Khan or Mongolian mutton barbecue and fried noodle as usual. Many people who live in Hokkaido often eat Genghis Khan, I prefer to beef though.

There was a river by the field. My friend told me that it was a good place to go away for the hot summer and she was reading there while taking a foot bath because it was cool and very comfortable. I will go there next summer.

Must be nice to go out and have dinner at a popular restaurant in Japan.

Sakae, I think you have many new friends on your blog now. :)

Happy late birthday and anniversary. I hope you had a good time eating a very good cake. I also hope you have fun at the popular restaurant.

You said 'We ate mutton barbeque as usual' -- so whenever you have an outing, people always have Mongolian mutton barbeque? I've never heard of that. I thought mutton was unpopular in Japan.

Hi, Always visiting,

Thank you very much for your nice comment.
Not many, but new friends has increased little by little happily.
Actually I bought six kinds of piece of cake and my family chose two respectively by rock, scissors, paper, I chose one at first though.
Yes, mutton is unpopular in Japan except in Hokkaido. I ate it in Hokkaido for the first time.
