power outage

It was snowing yesterday. The blizzard caused a power outage, and some schools were closed in some areas of southern Hokkaido, my area was OK though.
Some victims took refuge from that, but I imagined that going there in the blizzard was also difficult for them.
The number of all-electric home is increasing now, but it's not good when like this blizzard or a strong earthquake occurs.
I think that the balance is important for not only homes but many things.

I read about the outage on a forum for people living in and going to Japan. I thought your area might have been effected. I'm glad it wasn't.

My area had a power outage during every snow storm too, sometimes for more than two weeks. We had electricity only, so we had to go to my grandmother's house. Her house used gas.

Hi, Always visiting,

Thank you very much for your comment always.
Wow, "two weeks" is a long time. I prefer gas when I cook or use as a heater.
