Ikebana Exhibition and Goryoukaku Tower

I went to see an Ikebana exhibition yesterday.
Five schools got together and exhibited their own Ikebana. Many of them used pines, plums, Japanese rhodea (Omoto in Japanese), lilies and so on in the New Year's mood.

I saw the hanging Ikebana for the first time.

The tea ceremony was held at the next booth.

And then, I went to Goryoukaku.
It was snowy, so there were few people at the Goryoukaku Park. I saw a man cross-country skiing there. You can see Goryoukaku Tower.

I took the elevator up to the top of Goryoukaku Tower and I got a great view of white Goryoukaku. It was so beautiful.

There was a 'hand organ', which was made to commemorate the first anniversary of Goryoukaku Tower. It took 8 months to make it by Motoki Tanime. It also comes out bubbles with playing. The tone was very comfortable.
My son had tried to play it before. If you're lucky, you can play it. It's very easy to just turn the handle.

Hi, Always visiting,

Thank you very much for your comment.
Yes, they were very nice. My teacher and other teachers collaborated to arrange flowers of the first photo.

Wonderful pictures! Especially the second picture is interesting. Ikebana is creative, isn't it?

Hi, happy yuan,

Thank you very much for your comment.
Yes, Ikebana is creative. There are as many arrangements as there are people, and never arrange the same.
