Squid season is coming again.

When my parents visited Hokkaido before, they were surprised to see that squids were really fresh at the supermarket. And when it comes to see them, I'm intrigued to eat it.
A few days ago, a newspaper said about squids coming with photos. So I bought some yesterday. They were not so big, but they were fresh and cheap.

Although you could eat them raw, I cooked with some vegetables.
It was really delicious, so I'd like to post the recipe here.

1. boil lightly asparagus
2. cut the squids apart from guts
3. mix squids with a little guts
4. olive oil and garlic on a pan
5. saute mushrooms, asparagus, and squids
6. add basil paste, salt, pepper, and grained cheese into [5]
* Don't saute squid much or it gets hard. It's OK when its color turns white.

Enjoy!

I love squid tempura. Well if such a thing exists anyway.

Hi, Always visiting.

Thanks for your comment. I love it and deep fried squid ring, too. But cooking it is dangerous because the hot oil splash if you don't peel its skin completely.
