It's rainy, hot and humid today.

There was a recipe of taco in a TOEIC textbook, ハイパー模試 fortunately.
I always cooked taco rice using taco seasoning or half-cooked bags before, so I'm happy to cook without them. Now I can cook taco rice anytime.

I'll copy the recipe here.

You'll want to have about 500 grams of ground beef, one medium onion and two medium potatoes.
First you dice the onion and then peel and chop the potatoes into very small pieces. Put the meat, onions and potatoes into a large frying pan and saute over medium heat, stirring frequently for about ten minutes. Drain any oil from the mixture.
Next, you want to add spices, which are a teaspoon of salt, two teaspoons of chili powder and one tablespoon of cumin.
Then, you want to add half a cup of water, stir the mixture, cover it and cook another ten minutes on low, stirring occasionally. Remove the cover and continue cooking until all the water evaporates. Serve it in soft tacos adding toppings like diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, olives, salsa and sour cream.

I cooked taco rice. It was easy and really good!

Hi, Sakae

Thank you for telling me the recipe.
I have never tasted "Taco Rice."
It is Okinawa's food. isin't it?
I have been to Hokkaido many times but I've never been to
Taco comes from tacos, I think. So it is spicy food.
I like spicy food very much.
Looking at your recipe, I want to try .

Do you like ナシゴレン?
My Indonesian friend cooked for me and it was so so so spicy
and I loved that. Have you ever cooked?

Hi, ダイエット妄想ママ.

Yes, taco rice is from Okinawa. I've never been there, either.
It's not so spicy, but I like it very much.

I've had ナシゴレン at a restaurant before, but I've never cooked it yet. I thought it was like チャーハン. It was not so spicy. The real ナシゴレン seems to be so so so spicy, isn't it?

There is a restaurant that has so so so spicy curry in Hakodate. I don't want to try it again, but you might like it.
