a rare picture?

As soon as I came home from jogging with excitement yesterday morning, I said to my family "I took an amazing picture! Look! Ta-dah!"

My family said "・・・・・. It's just a cobweb. I don't understand why it is amazing."
I was disappointed to hear that. I thought it was really rare.
Because the cobweb was very beautiful and moreover, tiny drops of rain made it more beautiful. Although there were some cobwebs along the stream, many of them were on the fences near the bridges because it was easier to make for spiders, and it was safer for the cobwebs, maybe. However, this cobweb was made between a pole and a tall weed. So the background scene was perfect. I wish a spider were in the center of the cobweb though.
When I went jogging this morning, it disappeared.

Anyway, isn't this photo amazing? If you think it's amazing, please click the clap sign below.

Yesterday, right after I got home from my morning jog, I excitedly said to my family, "I took an amazing picture! Look! Ta-Dah!". As I was showing them my picture, *my husband (or son) looked at me quizzically and said, "......It's just a *cobweb. I don't understand why it is amazing."

* Unless both members of your family had said exactly the same thing at the same time, then you would state which person had said it.

*Just so you know that a cobweb is the abandoned web of a spider. It looked to be in a state of disrepair, so it may have been a cobweb. Had the web been in good shape or had you seen a spider near the web, then it would be correct to say that it was a spiderweb.

If you are not sure, then spiderweb would be the correct word. Saying cobweb assumes knowledge that the web was no longer being used.

I was disappointed to hear my husband's (or son's) reply. I thought that it was a rare find, not just because it was a cobweb, but because the beauty of the web had been made even more beautiful by the tiny droplets of rain upon it. Although there were other cobwebs along a nearby stream, many were on fences near the bridges (perhaps it was easier and safer for the spiders to make them there). What had made this cobweb unique, was its placement. It spanned the gap between a pole and a long weed. This made for a perfect background scene. I wish a spider were in the center of the web though.

When I went jogging this morning, it was gone.

Hi, shiroi tora.

I had looked up the word, 'cobweb' in a dictionary when I had written this blog, but it didn't say in detail.
Thank you very much for the corrections.
