Silver Wedding Anniversary

Several months ago, I knew that there was a hotel named 'Ginkonyu (銀婚湯)' in Japanese, which means a silver wedding hot spring.
I had decided to stay there to celebrate our silver(25th) wedding anniversary.

Before going there, my husband bought some piece of cakes for us on the way home from work.

We then went to watch a soccer game for our son. He played soccer in the rain.

When my son finished playing soccer, my family went to the hotel which was in a mountainous area. The leaves were beautiful.

After we had some cookies and green tea served and relaxed, my husband and son took a bath (hot spring). We then went to a dining room. As we had told that it was for our silver wedding anniversary, the hotel staff took a picture of us and gave us some special gifts and the picture frame later.

I then took a bath. Nobody was in the bathroom. I was a little scared, but I also dared to take an outdoor bath. I was afraid that a bear would come, so I took there for only a few seconds. I soon came back and took an indoor bath for a while.

The next morning, we went to a hot spring nearby.
There were five hot springs around the hotel. The farthest hot spring took ten minutes walk from the hotel. Only the guests staying the hotel could use the hot spring privately. My family went to one of the hot springs called Maple Hot Spring. Because there was the hot spring beside a big Japanese maple tree. It took seven minutes on foot from the hotel.

↑We took off our clothing at the shed (the left side). The hot spring was a little small, but it was really nice.

↑We then went back to the hotel and we had breakfast.

↑There was a foot bath near the hotel as well.

The hotel was a typical Japanese style and really nice. I had a great time there.
The reason why the hotel named 'Ginkonyu' was that the hotel found substantial hot spring when it was a silver wedding anniversary for the Emperor Taisyo as well as the hotel owner.
I want to go there again someday.

The reason the hotel is named 'Ginkonyu' is that the hotel owner had discovered substantial numbers of hot springs on the grounds when it was the silver wedding anniversary for Emperor Taisyo, as well as for the hotel owner.

I want to go there again someday.
