Ikebana 11/18/2015

IMG_8941_convert_20151121234524.jpg

I had composed this arrangement of Japanese Fantail Willow (石化柳), Rose (バラ), and Monstera (モンステラ).

Since I wanted to show the different colors of Monstera, I made one look forward (dark green), and the other look backward (light green).

I got a new 2016 organizer from my Ikebana teacher.
It was published by our Ikebana school. It's very useful because it has a few Ikebana pictures, three kinds of calenders, descriptions about the rules of flower arranging, address pages, and so on.
I write down daily schedules, physical conditions, diary, memorandums, and so on. Since I have a bad memory, I write down many things. I've used this type of organizers for ages.
I'm very happy to get new one.

P.S.

I write down daily schedules, physical conditions, diary, memorandums, and so on. Since I have a *poor memory, I write down many things. I've used this type of organizer for ages.
I was very happy to have received a new one.

*Although many people use 'bad' in places where it is best served by the word 'poor', it is wrong logically.
'Bad' means a wrong, corrupt, broken, or even evil entity or choice.
'Poor' means a lesser, but still viable, choice or entity.

Although you may eat poor quality sushi...you would never eat bad sushi, as it could make you sick.

A person with a bad memory may have false memories. A person with a poor memory simply does not remember things well.

Re: English Corrections

Hello, Shiroi Tora.

Thank you very much for the corrections as always.
I was glad to know that 'a poor memory' was better than 'bad'.
