Is it never too late to start?

IMG_8946_convert_20151126172632.jpg

1,080 yen (lunch menu) : 9 sushi, Chawanmushi (steamed egg custard with shrimp, shiitake mushroom, and so on ), Sanpei jiru (soup boiled in a salty broth with salmon and vegetables such as potato, carrot, daikon radish, and so on), pickled ginger, and green tea

I had lunch at a sushi restaurant, 'Sakae Sushi'. This restaurant has nothing to do with me, but a friend of a friend of mine works here. I like this restaurant not only because of the same name as mine, but it was resonable and I was full. Sanpeijiru (soup) is one of the typical Hokkaido dishes. It was delicious, too.

By the way, although it is said that "It's never too late to start.", is it true?
I think that it is difficult for me to start new things from scratch when I get older. I'd rather resume things which I had experienced or lerned when I was young. It will be easier to do again and I had known its base. There are some things I had forgotten, but it is likely for me to remember how to do it soon.

When I think of that, I want my son to experience many things in his age.
However, he is addicted to play DS games. A few days ago, I hid his DS game player from my son. To tell you the truth, it is in my car. I pretended that I took it to someone's house and kept it there. Actually, I drove with it to a supermarket parking, and I hid it in my car.
If I hid it in my house, my son would look for it and it would be mess in my house.
Since he was free last weekend, he made doughnuts and ice cream by himself, looking at my own recipe notebook, instead of studying.

I don't blame you for hiding your son's DS in your car. I think it's nice that he cooked, but it's too bad he didn't study.

Re: No title

Hi, Always visiting.

Although my son and I had made doughnuts for several times before, it was first time for him to make ice cream. So, I was very surprised by it.
The DS is still in my car.
Thank you for your comment as always.

I deleted Shiroi Tora's corrections as he had requested.

I think that the older I get, the more difficult it will be for me to start new things from scratch. I'd rather resume things which I had experienced, or learned, when I was young. It would be quicker and easier to re-learn already familiar activities.

On a related topic, I want my son to experience many things during his childhood.
However, he is addicted to playing his DS games. A few days ago, I hid my son's DS game player. To tell you the truth, it is in my car. I pretended that I had taken it to someone's house and left it there. Actually, I drove with it to a supermarket parking lot, and hid it in my car.
Had I hid it at home, my son would have made a mess of the house looking for it.
Since he was free last weekend, he made doughnuts and ice cream by referring to my own recipe notebook, instead of studying.
