Ume works have just started.

I took a TOEIC test last weekend.
I managed to finish only one workbook (TOEIC テスト公式問題集) just before the test.

5/27PracticeTest2-Listening100/100, Reading100/100

I had some little troubles before going the test, and moreover, the most concern about taking the test was my eyes. Since my eyes were a little tired on that day, I wanted to buy an eye lotion on the way to the venue. Unfortunately, I coundn't find any drug stores along the street I was driving. To be honest, I bought glasses several months ago and I took them with me in my bag just in case, but I didn't want to use them. Because I didn't get used to wearing glasses and it was uncomfortable for me. However, I wanted to put the glasses on the table during the test in case I wouldn't able to see letters clearly after reading many articles, but I couldn't do this. Putting extra things on the table was prohibited.

After all, my eyes were no problem during the test. The content of the test was about the same as usual for me.
This time, I saw few examinees around the same age as me. Many of them were university students seemingly.
After the test, I bought a cream puff at the convenience store on my way home, and I was relaxed to eat it over a cup of coffee at home.

perilla juice, Ume sour, and Ume syrup

I was busy yesterday. My son had been waiting for me to get his hair cut. His hair had grown and it was like a scrubbing brush. So, I cut his hair. I then I made ume (plum) syrup and ume sour. After that, I classifyed bigger leaves for making Umeboshi (plum picles) and smaller leaves for making juice from the branches of perilla I had bought at the supermarket. And I made perilla juice. The time when I finished everything was midnight.
Ume season is limited, so, I can't procrastinate Ume works.

Re: English Corrections

Hello, Shiroi Tora.

Thank you very much for the corrections.

Please give me a sample sentence using 'seemingly'. I don't know how to use it.

Answer to Sakae's question

Sakae's request:

Please give me a sample sentence using 'seemingly'. I don't know how to use it.

My Reply:

I had seen a man at the pool who was seemingly swimming with supernatural speed, until I saw the swim fins on his feet.

I had taken a bite from a seemingly rich fudge cake, only to discover that it had been made of mud by my four year old daughter.

English Corrections

Actually, I should have included commas before and after 'seemingly.

I had seen a man at the pool who was, seemingly, swimming with supernatural speed, until I saw the swim fins on his feet.

I had taken a bite from a, seemingly, rich fudge cake, only to discover that it had been made of mud by my four year old daughter.

Sorry, I had been in a hurry.

Re: Answer to Sakae's question

Hi, Shiroi Tora.

Thank you very much.
So, 'seemingly' is often used when it is not a real thing, isn't it?

Re: No title

Hi, Always visiting.

Do you have the Ume season in your country, too? I was surprised to hear that.
Thank you for your comment.

No title

No, we don't have it. I'm just excited when you start
making umeboshi and ume sour every year.

Re: No title

Hi, Always visiting.

I see. Thank you.
My son enjoys the Ume syrup juice. He said it's better than last year's one.
