read while standing

You can see Mt. Hakodate over there in this picture taken on one Sunday afternoon.

I like sitting. I want to sit as much as possible wherever I am. I sit even when I was brushing my teeth.
However, I was shocked to watch a TV program which said that sitting for a long time makes your life shorten.
It also showed that an Australian school made students stand while they were learning.
I decided to stand as much as possible.

First, I tried to read something while standing. I sometimes stood on one leg by turns, right and left. It made me tired. I couldn't last long.

I think I should excercise and stand more for my health. It is difficult for me.

First, I tried to read something while standing. I stood on one leg, and then on the other, switching between the two as I tired. I couldn't last long.

I think I should exercise, and stand more, for my health. It is difficult for me.

No title

These days, they have "standing desks" in the UK and the US. It's a very tall desk. The person can stand and use the computer or write.

Some people also sit on an exercise ball instead of a regular chair.

Hi, Shiroi Tora.

Thank you so much for the corrections as always.
I should remember the usage 'in the distance' instead of 'over there'.

Re: No title

Hi, Always visiting.

Oh, they are called "standing desks", aren't they?
I'm afraid that there is no standing desk fit for me when I go abroad to study in the future!
Thank you for telling me the name of them.
