Ikebana 4/5/2017

I had composed this arrangement of Viburnum furcatum (虫狩/ムシカリ), Lily (ユリ), and Gold dust dracaena (ゴッドセフィアナ).
It is said that insects like Viburnum furcatum's leaves. This branches always grow bifurcated, so, my teacher recommended that it was good to show its feature.
There is no snow any more here, and the temperature is around 10℃.
The other day, I went back to my hometown by plane. I felt sad that my father has lost his abilities one by one because of his age, 85.
When I had moved to Hokkaido, I had left my planter at my parents garden. My mother moved one of my plants, rosemary, a kind of harb, to their new place a few years ago. It has been growing much.
While I was watching TV program of Venetia Stanley-Smith before, I learned that the rosemary is good for dementia fortunately. So, I made some rosemary tea for my parents and I taught my mother how to make it. It's very easy. Just put hot water into a tea pot with a few fresh rosemary leaves. My mother has made it every day since then.
However, it is said that it is not so good for those who take medication of high blood pressure to drink rosemary tea.
I had planted some rosemary in my planter here, but unfortunately, they couldn't live in winter.
