a phone call from a swindler again

IMG_1838_convert_20171015133543.jpg
A frog on the gravestone.

When I called my mother one morning as usual, my mother sounded a little strange on that day. It seemed that my father was sitting next to her and told her something.
She told me about what happened on my brother. According to her, he called in the evening before the day, and he told her that he had had a cold. He then called the next morning, and he told her that he had lost a lot of money in the stock market. So, he asked for help. As I had worked at a stock company before, my mother told him that he should consult me. He then said, "Never tell my sister because I don't want her to worry about it!"

As soon as I listened to her, I knew he was a swindler, not my brother.
First, I soon sent a text message to my brother. Second, I called the nearest police box from my parents' house.
Fortunately, my brother saw it soon, and he called my mother. She realized the difference between their voices.
After a while, a police man visited my parents house.

My parents' phone number seems to be on swindle groups. This was the second time.
That was the first time.
The police man said that they will call someday again.

Anyway, I was relieved that they sent no money to the group.

My parents' phone number seems to be known to swindle groups. This was the second time someone had tried to swindle them.

The police officer said that they will likely call again someday.

Anyway, I was relieved that my parents had sent no money to the group.

Hello, Shiroi Tora.

Thank you very much for the corrections as always.
I was embarrassed about saying 'police man'.
