alpine leek (Gyoujyaninniku)

Alpine leeks, or Gyoujyaninniku in Japanese is one of the advent of spring in Hokkaido. I think it's like Chinese chives(or leeks) or Nira in Japanese.
I didn't know it before I live in Hokkido.

When the spring comes, we can see them at the grocery store. And some people enjoy picking them up in the fields or mountains.
I found them at the store, so I bought some. Then I cooked fried rice with them for lunch and cooked pork and some vegetables with them again for supper yesterday. It's also nice for deep fried or Tempra.

We are going to my homeland for less than a week. I'm looking forward to seeing Mt.Fuji again!

See you next week!
